REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The on-line
registration deadline is at 6:00 PM on January 10, 2004 (Central
Time US, GMT+6). You are encouraged to register for the Special
Workshop in Maui (SWIM): Lectures by Masters in Speech Processing
as soon as possible. After reading information in this page please
register through the Secure Registration Website of the Workshop
hendled by Conference Managements Services (CMS) at your earliest

Notes:
1. The regular registration fee includes conference materials
one CD-ROM proceedings, a workshop digest, refreshments and the
Banquet dinner. There has to be at least one registration per
paper in order to be included the program and the proceedings.
2.
In order for the Maui Prince folks to plan a memorable banquet,
we request early purchase of extra banquet tickets for family
and friends accompanying the attendees.
3.
No invoices will be sent. Each attendee need to register separately.
4.
Attendees not using credit cards must forward a check, or money
order payable to SWIM 2004 and drawn on a US bank or a US branch
of an International bank for the total amount due in US Dollars.
5.
Refund policy: Processing fee $100 USD before 12 December 2003.
No refunds after 12 December 2003.

On-site registration will be possible at the registration desk
of the Workshop venue, Maui Prince Hotel and Resort, during the
Workshop dates, January 10 to 14, 2004. Only cash in US Dollars
will be accepted for the on site-payment.
7.
Those who need an official letter of invitation in order to attend
the Workshop may send an email to the Chair (H. Abut abut@akhisar.sdsu.edu)
specifying the details before December 12, 2003.) This procedure,
however, is for assisting participants who need to obtain a visa
or permission to attend the Workshop and is not an official invitation
covering fees or any other expenses.
8.
Neither the Organizing Committee nor Center for Integrated Acoustic
Information Research (CIAIR) of Nagoya University accept any liability
or responsibility for death, illness or injury to persons or for
the loss of, or damage to property, or for any financial loss
of any person attending the Workshop. Participants are advised
to make their own arrangements in respect to health and travel
insurance.
