Post-Workshop Message from the Organizing Committee
The
Special Workshop in Maui (SWIM): Lectures by Masters in Speech
Processing was held in the Maui Prince Hotel and Resort, Maui,
Hawai'i on January 11-14, 2000. Each of these nine peers has
delivered an hour long lecture with rich history, anecdotal
information and lessons for all of us in the field. In the
near future, we will announce in the website how to access
to their material including the downloading of the video streams,

addition, there were excellent 46 poster presentations by
our colleagues from many corners of the globe. Their titles
are listed in the technical program and extra copies of the
CDROM Proceedings can be obtained from Professor Kazuya Takeda
